Caption: Former CP 7069 (a Baldwin DS4-4-1000) is shown at CP's West Toronto yard on June 2nd 1986. It was originally part of an 11-unit order of Baldwin switchers (7065-7075) and 13-unit order for roadswitchers (8000-8012) built in 1948 by Baldwin in Eddystone PA (the order was set up for CP via CLC) for dieselizing the E&N, and proved to be CP's only Baldwin purchase. The Baldwin fleet served mainly out west on the E&N and in the Vancouver area until the remaining units were retired during the mid-late 1970's.

7069 was retired in October 1978, and purchased later that month by a D.A. Lister of Toronto. It currently resides at the Toronto Railway Heritage Association's "Roundhouse Park" (former CPR John St. Roundhouse) in downtown Toronto, albeit still privately owned and not officially part of the museum's collection.

The only other surviving CP Baldwin locomotive was DRS4-4-1000 8000, which was set aside by CP for their old locomotive collection in the 80's, but eventually donated to the West Coast Railway Association in Squamish BC.
