For those who know this area as it is today, this view off Waterdown Rd in Aldershot bears no resemblance to what you would see now. Obviously more track. GO and VIA platforms on the right and the sprawling GO station and parking lot is on the left. Back when this was pix'd there was nothing but trees and a dirt trail thru the woods where the Station area is now.
Yeah, it has been 45 years. Time and progress is moving along all too quickly.
The pulp train, which is history as well, this day is powered by CN 4601, 5058 and 5052.
