Fetch! - People have been falling over each other trying to catch this set in action since it was put together a couple weeks ago. Gaggles of folks from all over chasing L568 as it runs at a fairly predictable time. Imagine my surprise to go to the Kitchener Yard Sunday morning as the clouds started to roll in only to get L540 heading down to the Kitchener interchange and instead they went west to Stratford and St. Marys. The morning run affording this somewhat rare view of a freight from the east side of this classic stone bridge and historic municipal buildings below. Clouds were quite prevalent on this chase stonewalling me for half my shots, and in this view you can see the shadow on the last 2 cars - cutting it really close - the reward is nice puffy clouds in the sky. You'd think a gaggle of people would be following this train this morning, but no, I was by myself save for one feller at Stratford watching the action. For folks going to get this, Thursday May 17th train had motive power problems as 2090 is having issues but it lead anyway. The GT faces east as of Thursday the 17th.
