Caption: Essex Terminal Railway #9, their 0-6-0 built by MLW in 1923, sits at the Windsor engine terminal coupled up to a switcher unit in 1961. ETR 9 was retied in 1963, and set aside for preservation in a planned Ontario rail museum that never came to fruition. It was leased to the Southern Ontario Locomotive Preservation Society (SOLRS) in St. Thomas for many years, and is currently owned by them.
