Caption: Eight units up front and 4 cabeese and (gasp) one load! No doubt an equipment move westbound and one what looks to be a transformer along for the ride. A beautiful late May weekend has a few of the fans out at the Jct., a most popular location for trainwatching many years back.
Only locos noted are the first 4, CN 5570, 5506, 9574 and 9521............

Overpowered much? I believe the 3rd number is 5574
Oops!! You’re right, James. I was more concerned with checking the consist count and neglected to check the original notes I took when snapping this photo way back when.
Couldn’t even tell that was Bayview at first, great shot and capture!
the 4770 that i snapped last year on the inspection train 483.
And does it still look as nice? Most 4700s I see now are rather weatherbeaten as far as paint goes.
THIS is what you really notice as the years go by. Everybody is hollering about “save the trees” and the flamin’ things are sprouting up everywhere, rendering great locations for photos useless, and in many cases completely changing the landscape. I can’t help but reflect when I walk Dundas and view 40 ft trees where it was once CN-manicured open lands.
