Caption: During an early June morning, an eastbound CP train is viewed waiting for a fresh crew at Quebec Street Yard in London, Ontario. The consist included; SOO Line SD40-2 6610, SD40-2 5844 and CSXT GP40 6562. The former Chessie unit was heading to AMF in Montreal, Quebec where it eventually would become HATX 401. And ironically by the fall of 1994 was immediately leased to CP. At the time, the railway had a large group of Helm Financial Corporation units leased as part of their rapidly expanding mid-90’s lease fleet.

Quite a lashup, nice shot!
Thanks Mike.
At the time we didn’t know why the CSX unit was on there and heading east. Then we later read in Branchline that it was acquired by Helm and would be leased to CP. Those were interesting times for sure.
