Still a good picture.
Looks like a good shot to me. Just be happy that you are not the crew member riding the point of 1437. I remember those days in brutal cold. Not fun
Liam, this picture is certainly worth freezing half-to-death. Not only a very interesting contrast in motive power, but also two different railways. In addition, a great view of CN Stuart track arrangement, CN’s Harbour Front yard, and in the distance the bulk unloading tracks on the left. Now, when are Amtrak/VIA going to smarten up and use the eb diverging track at
Stuart into West Harbour and pick up passengers ? But I guess the track from the east end of the GO Station has to be tied into Grimsby Sub, or has this been done.
@railwayguy. The plan is to have the track run into West Harbour station so it will also be a stop for VIA/Amtrak. The track is in place but not yet attached to the Grimbsy Sub
@ngineered4u Interesting how the equipment has been there forever it seems like but no progress is being made
@Liam..that is the way the railways seems to work..lol or not work sometimes. I have seen it take over 10 years to finish certain projects.
