I am standing where since the new Aldershot leads have been constructed, the Cold Storage building is but a memory, as is the signal tower in front of the Waterdown Rd bridge. A very nice image taken with a classic camera, which I’ve read typically weighs around 5 lb (more or less, depending on lens, etc).
Can anyone tell me when Aldershot Yard originated, and any expansions prior to 2000 ?
With important junctions on either side, it’s a useful place for a yard.

A very nice image taken with a classic camera, which I’ve read typically weighs around 5 lb (more or less, depending on lens, etc).
Can anyone tell me when Aldershot Yard originated, and any expansions prior to 2000 ?
With important junctions on either side, it’s a useful place for a yard.
