Those were never made out of GP9′s, they were built new from GMDD London out of MP1500 frames.
CNCNDR, you would be incorrect my friend. Do some research There are 2 classes of these units. There is a 500 class that were built by GMDD and there are 200 class that were built by and were chopped down GP9′s IE.. CN 200 YBU4, blt new in 1980 as 458 Yard Slug A3870 12

How did this get damaged?
@Todd. It was damaged in a collision at Mac Yrd over a year ago. Still not sure if it will be repaired or retired. Probably retired.
That looks too short to be a GP9 frame, but I’m just guessing I’m not as familiar with the CN slugs.
@rlk2211… I will look at the other side the next time I am at work as it may still have its #. The point I was trying to make was that CN has/had many different booster units including ones made from retired MLW’s
I guess we get to see how Sluggos are made out of.
