Caption: Divine St in Sarnia quickly turns from a residential street to a train lovers paradise, sorta, with a three track grade crossing and a somewhat busy (but slowly closing) industry. My in-laws live only a KM down the road and trains blow their horn very loudly when switching Imperial Oil's Lubricants plant, which has basically all but closed (still takes some tank cars though). After switching the Cargill elevator by Point Edward (at the end of this spur a couple miles north) the yard job is returning to Sarnia yard with a splash of fall colour.
Notes: Closest track leads to the beginning of CSX track (Called the North Interchange) just behind the fence to my right, also used to see tank cars going into Imperial by CN, but that seems done. The Point Edward spur sees service about two to three times a week (mon/wed/fri) but extras as required. This used to be a busy place, fairly recently the IOX job would spend 2-3 hours switching here then heading over to Cargill, then back to Sarnia yard, often with about 30 cars on the drawbar.. now very short trains seem the norm. Dial back time to before the new tunnel (Circia early to mid 90's and earlier) and there were trains all day and all night here, switching the ferry and ferry yard.. if anyone has photos, please share, I'd be very appreciative! Cheers.

Also not too many places on CN where you can watch slug-mother sets switching in close proximity – close to big yards only and those that still use ‘em.
