Defying the odds, CMQ 9011 takes the solo lead of a short CP 421 as it moves through mile 1.6 of the North Toronto Subdivision in the mid afternoon on one of the hottest days of 2021. This thing caught me by complete surprise, so you can only imagine my reaction when I saw the signature appearance of an SD40-2F round the bend just past the pedestrian bridge. As an added bonus, 9011 is my personal favourite of the remaining barns.
