D724 has just finished working London Agricultural Commodities (LAC) facility in Tupperville and is about to blast off to Wallaceburg with work at one of the two customers there at the time.
If rumours are to be believed, it's thought that Sollio, a large agricultural commodity company (50% owners of South West AG Partners including a Wallaceburg and Eberts facility on this same railway line) is behind the company that purchased the line from Chatham Kent. It's sold, that's all we know for sure, but it'll cost millions and you have to get the big boys to play ball (they may not). Good luck - track is still in place here but no trains since October 2013.

  1. Does that include the line down to Blenheim as well Stephen?

  2. No. Cn owned and serviced once a week

  3. Right..seems like something CN would like to offload imo.

  4. You’d think so.. but I think the whole idea of CNs ownership of it all is to keep out competition in Sarnia. They’d rather see it gone than fall into the hands of a competitor, which is why CN owns just north of the CPR Diamond to Blenheim.

  5. Wow….great shot Stephen!

  6. Glad you like it Todd. I have a few more goodies saved up!
