Caption: Crew change time at Foleyet, a division point on the Ruel Sub. Compared to these days, this just looks like a bunch of old guys waiting for a train. The station was built in the early teens when the CNoR pushed thru between 1911-1915. Railroad constructed by the Foley Bros and Northern Construction. Originally named "Foley", the name was decided as "Foleyet" as to not conflict with the community of Foley near Parry Sound. The station has long been removed; probably due to the costs of operating such a large wooden building in harsh winter climate. Now a kiosk is in place for VIA service. Power on the southward/eastbound train is CN 9453, 9457 and 9422. The huge coal tower is still in place; not seen behind the locomotives due to the angle I shot this image. I had actually anticipated the train to come much closer to me than it did.
