CP's 'Streetsville Turn' just finished switching the 'new' ADM plant across the tracks, and has backed up to Erindale on the main to cross over to the north track, and has just arrived to the 'old' ADM to lift the grainers sitting there.

  1. I didn’t know they still switched the old plant. I’m assuming you mean the one in the photo.

  2. First of all, the plant in the foreground is now Mondelez and it does receive cars.

The facility at the end of Barbertown road is still owned by ADM and also receives cars.

  3. I understand that for Years the residents around Barbertown Rd have tried to rid of ADM to no avail. It’s fun to watch them switch there as you can drive right in.

  4. Yes that is mondelez in the back round and ADM is down the street both places have tight rules like no idling your truck and at mondelez if you show up with a load of wheat before 7:00am you get put in the penilty box till 10:00am lol. Come wheat harvest time I am there two to three times a day with wheat. Awsome pic!

  5. And I think the ADM mill is one of the oldest buildings in Streetsville.
