Caption: CP second 240 rolls alongside the newly extended east end of Spicer siding behind CP 8578, UP 8216, and CEFX 1007. The view here was vastly different a few short years ago, with the east end of Spicer being located back towards where the train disappears around the corner and CN was double tracked, as opposed to todays triple track. Had you visited last winter, you'd have found a temporary switch installed in the approximate location of the lead unit, however seeing as the new siding was not tied into anything at the west end, it was of no practical use. The chicane is also new, and likely in order to avoid a bridge pier. 1249hrs.
