CP SD40 5555 and "Empress of Agincourt" RSD17 8921 handle an eastbound freight (probably the Starlight from Abderdeen Yard) coming off CP's Hamilton Sub at Hamilton Junction, operating via running rights over CN's Oakville Sub to Canpa. The downtown Hamilton skyline can be seen at the other end of Burlington Bay.

  1. A precarious perch Bill. :) Quite the drop down if one slips!!

Nice angle, there’s not too many of these open angles left these days..

  2. Nice to see the Empress escaped the transfer pool to Lambton once in a while. What a sight that would have been doing 60 on the Oakville Sub. Nice leader too!!

  3. I think I know who is responsible for this latch up.
