Caption: CP SD40-2 5846 and MKCX SD45 9523 lean into the curve at Lambton Mills as they leave the West Toronto area with train #511, westbound on the Galt Subdivision in the afternoon. MKCX 9523 was one of locomotive rebuilder Morrison Knudson's many lease units, in this case a former CSX unit still in CSX paint (originally built for the Seaboard Coast Line, and eventually ending up as Wisconsin Central 6636).
This location at Lambton Mills also has significance in that it was where the old Toronto Suburban Railway interurban line from West Toronto to Guelph (operations discontinued in 1931) ducked underneath CP's Galt Sub, before continuing west and crossing the Humber River on a separate railway bridge.
