Caption: CP 924 is ready to continue its trip eastbound from Galt after setting off cars in the once busy yard. The consist included; 5629, 1822, 1861, 8241, HLCX 4290 and HLCX 4406. This train had attracted quite a bit of attention at the time as both RS18u's 1822 and 1861 were operating their last miles on CP and would eventually be retired later that summer. However, both units would find a second home after retirement.
1861 would eventually be acquired by the Ontario Southland Railway later that year and became OSRX 181. While also in September 1998, unit 1822 would be sold to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway to be used on their tourist train operation in Ohio.
