CP 9-143 rolls into Toronto with a consist that hasn't been seen on the CP Belleville sub in a good 5 years or more. CMQ (Ex-CP) SD402-2Fs 9020 and 9022 pull 111 intermodal wells and autoracks from Montreal to Toronto. I never thought I would get a chance to see these locomotives, let alone leading and no CP red.

  1. How many of these barns are still lingering around Toronto? Or have the ones that have come West all gone to Winnipeg? I want to catch them now that i’m down the street from the North Toronto sub.

  2. CMQ 9023 is in Buffalo, it should be back today on CP 247 (possibly leading). CMQ 9021 is out west on a Herzog I believe. CMQ 9020/9022 are in Bensenville (Chicago) Il waiting for their next assignment.

  3. Thank you @Isaac Bryson. Would you know approx when it rolls through Toronto? Maybe a stop at Lambton?
