CP 8769 leads a short 24 axel train through Guelph Junction splitting CP 2244 idling on the north and a CP work crew preparing to depart with the Ministry of Engineering van in tow.
I don't know, but it seems CP has been running a lot of light power or very short trains in the last month with some of the daily regulars even getting cancelled. On a 3 day run, ever faithful CP 147 had 1 car total with two light powers.

  1. I understood that Hunter Harrison just wanted to send trains out without waiting for them to fill up. But his tenure is coming to an end soon.

  2. 24 axle’s ?

  3. Sorry- I missed that typo- I’ll have it repaired

  4. Wow, really? I have noticed CP has gone downhill lately, but I didn’t know it was that bad. Bogus :(
