CP 7015 still has that new car smell as it passes under a wooden bridge at 9th line near Beeton (north of Tottenham). Reminding us of the class CP brings to the table, the Company put this shiny new leader on their Flagship train #100 for a cross country journey photographed by many dozens of people - there were a half dozen of us here for this including a pair from the US. Here's to many more - I have not had an opportunity at one of these since, but i'm very much looking forward to one!

  1. Very nice, Stephen.

  2. Beautiful picture Stephen ! For an old guy like me, the return of the Canadian Pacific beaver and crest along with the grey and maroon paint scheme are so welcome, and there are so few iconic wooden bridges left standing, along with clear country blue sky !! Well done, and thanks for sharing it.

  3. Thank you gents. A Kodachrome sky as the film guys would say. This was the last fully blue sky day I can remember (from dawn to dusk!). It’s been unbelievably and consistently gray since – with a few sunny days (mixed with some clouds) in southern Ontario sadly. The rest of the country might be better but I haven’t the time to travel right now.
