What a lash up of power ! Were all the units working ? Were all the cars empty potash cars headed for the mine and how many ? Very nice picture, thanks for posting, John
Impressive !!! I love the idea of being able to get such a remarkable collection of power and a good length of train with nothing else to be seen but the trackbed and the grasses. Not even a tree! Great open prairie shot.
Arnold, couldn’t agree more with your comments, but if you look closely on the right hand side way back , you can see a tree (or two).
Ol’ Eagle Eyes……I’ll call you. )
More than likey only a couple uints would have been online (fuel conservation) HPT matching and all.
Wow!!! So that’s where all the power is these days on CP, LoL
railwayguy- No, just the first two were online. The entire train was for the mine except the head end car, CP 911 (emergency response training car) that was left in the back track at Guernsey.
awmooney- Thanks, I first saw this guy in very backlit conditions near Regina but I think you get why I did a little driving…
Marcus Stevens- Your welcome! The more CP units out here, the more foreign units for you guys.
