Caption: CP 608 accelerates up the short grade from the Thames River bridge onto the Galt sub with CP 9774-CEFX 1045 up front and CP 9350 shoving hard on the rear of the train. The crew had come on duty at Quebec street yard, but the inbound crew had left the train tied down in the siding at Lobo (6.3 miles to the west) the previous night. After running light power to Lobo to retrieve the train, the crew realized they had a bad TGBO, and had to stop at "02" (Begin/End CTC London) to wait for the yard utility to deliver the new paperwork. The stately CP station is visible at left, now a Keg restaurant. This location was once the original yard location for CP in London, featured a wide passenger platform in front of the station, and was double-tracked up to the bridge in the distance. Things have certainly changed over the years!
