CP 6013 South kicks up a few leaves making a surprise appearance leading mainline revenue freight through Midhurst on Remembrance day. Original leader (8759 seen second up) impacted something hard enough to shatter the Conductor's windshield, this train limped into Chapleau where 6013 was the only power onhand and, luckily enough, wound up leading 420 the rest of the way into Toronto! Not bad for an engine that had an empty
fuel tank date on it and was once scrap bound, ironically enough, this engine would pop it's low governor oil button shortly after this photo was taken and after being topped up in Toronto has been running around with counterpart 6031 in the GTA area ever since.
