CP 420 has just finished lifting 5 cars from the BCRY interchange at Utopia, and is preparing to proceed south now the Conductor is back aboard. Five units on the head-end today, 9377 8793 9365 3055 and 8717. On the tail-end was a GO bi-level from Thunder Bay.

  2. Hi Steve, very nice picture. Was this taken from the cab of the BCRY diesel ? Also, how did the CP units make the pick-up ? Did the BCRY locomotive push the interchange cars out on to CP’s MacTier Sub ? Are there any cars being stored on the BCRY ? Many thanks for sharing.

  3. Picture was taken from the cab of 1001. 420 cut-off the power just north of the crossing, came to the south interchange switch and lifted the cars. It then backed onto its train to head south. We just happened to get to the interchange at the same time. Great timing. We have hoppers stored on what is left of the Collingwood, with loads more to come which will also fill the Penetang Spur.

  5. Thanks Kevin. I figure the way LED signals are showing up all over the pl;ace, it’s only a matter of time. Got to capture them now.
