CP 246 slows as it approaches the River Road crossing outside of Welland Ontario with military tribute 7021 leading the way. 7021 has been flipping back and fourth on 246/247 over the past week and has offered many opportunities for railfans to get their pictures! Storms were rolling into Southern Ontario on this afternoon making for some dramatic lighting.

  1. Nice shot… new hoppers up front?

  2. Brand new! NSC built hoppers, marked for SPMX.

  3. I think it’s over a year now they have been heading south. Being stored in Buffalo while a new Shell facility is being built in Pennsylvania.
