CP 235 passes a barn next to Haggerty Creek as they head west towards Windsor. To my knowledge there used to be a station at the nearby crossing, but a quick Google search only turns up photos of the old GTR/CNR station in the town of Newbury on the Chatham Sub (also long gone). Anyone have any photos of the CP station here?

  1. Now there is an “A” for effort.

  2. Haha thanks!

  3. Great shot Mike! My preference has been trying to shoot at Bothwell. Once had a station, and concrete base of water tower is still there. Pretty hard to shoot currently, lots of old ties being stored there. But not only Bothwell, there was a station at Newbury, Thamesville ‘North’…and of course ‘North’ Glencoe too. I believe Appin had one as well as Kent Bridge, Tilbury, Belle River and I have seen photos of Elmstead. Hope this helps….someday hope to find those ‘late photos’…stations still located on original site but near end of service before being removed or possibly relocated.
