Single geep on a CN freight train.
Long hood forward - the way God intended....
...and a freight train with a Caboose – the way it should be....
Somewhat unusual – all the local jobs now seem to have at least 2 re-built (chop nose) geeps.
CN 4351 – Class GR 17z built GMD 1959 - is the second geep to wear this number, the first 4351 GP7 built GMD 1954 was renumbered to 4801 in 1957 and long retired. (along with 23 other sisters into the 4800 to 4823 series). CN 4351 the second (pictured here) is the future CN 7277 based in Montreal.
Photo note: with Kodachrome ASA 64 (slow ISO) and with low light necessitated a wide aperture and a slow shutter speed – likely one one hundred twenty fifth – hence the slight nose / number board blur.

Tech Note: at this time, October 1991, the debate raged on the future technology for the Oshawa GO line: a GO RT – like the Scarborough RT – was being promoted by the Ontario Government !
