CN's iconic 6060 was made available for viewing at the Warden shop during the Canada 150 celebrations. Major work required is on the boiler shell. There is an enthusiastic group of volunteers with the locomotive but I fear it will be some time yet before she is ready to steam again.

    CNR should get behind this transformation and then borrow her for a few decades of service!

    I agree PRR5406…The Government of Canada should get behind this and have the excursions again. Could you imagine the throngs of rail fans if this happened? Seriously they’re missing out as this would have been a great Canada 150 moment. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for our local government who spent taxpayers dollars on a large rubber duck for the 150.
