CNR U-1-f "Bullet Nose Betty" 6060 is seen on the point of an excursion run by the NRHS Buffalo Chapter at Whitelaw Road near Guelph; mile 28 of the Fergus Sub. The train would begin it's reverse move shortly to make a runpast at the crossing. Afterwards the train would continue to Guelph and turn on the wye to face westbound. Bill Thomson would shoot the train in Guelph.

  1. Sweet locomotive when CNR was still proud of its heritage.

  2. 8mm video footage of this trip (and a few others) recently surfaced here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQx306n5k7Q .

This trip is shown from 2:11 to 10:00. No audio, but a good assortment of Canadian railway songs.
