Caption: CN SW1200RS 1242 is looking a little bit rough late in its career on CN, and is slowly reverting from the black and red noodle scheme into its original as-built factory green paint, showing through under the faded black (hood), red (cab), and primer red paint. 1242 would be retired the next year in 1991, and resold to Independent Locomotive Services (ILSX). Over the last few recent years, it has worked as an industrial switcher at Strata Corporation in Trail MN, as BGSX 1242.

Funny how the only places the white from the CN noodle stuck is on the door louvers.
She’s looking good at Strata. Funny how the Noodle fades to black. And yes @Larry Parks the white stuck on the louvers ha. Thanks Dan for sharing.
