  3. Thank you also – a rare look into an era that many cameras spent focused on the steam …. just before the ubiquitous CN noodle came into being.

    The steam guys must have thought these lashups were nuts.. five engines? little did they know..

  4. Sometimes I look at the photos on this site and feel like nothing is going to top what I am looking at, and then along comes something like this image and again I wonder what the heck will I see that tops this ??? But then, I do know a lot of guys absolutely cursed diesels near the end of the steam era.
