  1. Very nice Jason!

  2. Those signals!

  3. One of my favourite spots of the past. This is a nice standard shot, Jason. Perfect angle, well balanced and nice elevation. I wonder how long we would get away with hanging around in there these days?

  4. The searchlight signals were placed so high so we could see them better comin round the corner. Especially if you were on the approach to a red light! :-) Great shot

  5. Considering how old the photographer was at the time, replacing “standard shot” with “pretty terrific shot” might be a little more encouraging. It certainly has caught the attention of the crowd. Super catch Jason. :-)

  6. Hey, but he DID get a *star* outta me. :o )

  7. Great shot Jason. Something I’ve only ever witnessed from a car on the 403.

  8. -Kevin Flood – Thank you!

-Stephen C. Host- I had forgotten that one signal was extended height until I had the slide scanned.

-awmooney- Thank you! I can see why this was one of your favourite spots back then. Yeah, I don’t think one would last overly long if they hung around there now.

    - ngineered4u- Thanks for the information on the signals and the height difference.

    - Extra 5610 West- Thank you and yes I was just 14 then. I wish I took more than one of that train!

    -jknott86- Thanks man!
