CN GP40 4002 is having identity issues.  It arrived as the 4002 but is caught mid-process of changing its identity to 9302.  It could also use a good washing!!

  1. About to be renumbered 4702.

  2. Sorry Pierre, but it was renumbered to 9302. GP38-2 5502 was the unit that was renumbered to 4702.

  5. I had many of these “fast 40′s” in GO service after they were renumbers to the 9300 class. They spent their final years in service pulling trains between Sarnia and Pt.Huron.The crews affectionately called them “tunnel motors” :-)
