  1. I never realized how prominent gmd-1′s were in the area until the early 2000′s. They clearly had a reputation amongst railroaders as the trillium guys loaned one for a while.

  2. I don’t think they were that prominent… seems a few were assigned to Merritton following their PSC rebuilds in the late 80′s, but I don’t think they lasted long. I don’t think they worked elsewhere in Niagara/Hamilton either… seems this was a Merritton experiment!
