Great! Me too. I rail fanned this spot many a time having lived up the street. Happy to know they are preserving and renovating the old buildings behind you there!
Brad – I lived in that area as well…hung out there from about 1972 to 1976….the Starlight and 552 were “the” freights in those days.
Ah yes, the Starlight, my favourite except that it was almost always late or dull and the best film at the time was Kodachrome 64 so rarely enough light.
The lead unit 6776 still exists- In Arizona on the Grand Canyon Railway. Retired and stored on display
