CN 8952 has gone from a regular CN SD70M-2 to a railfan sensation in 24 hours. Yesterday the first photos of it surfaced at AMP Dansville wearing its new GTW Heritage paint scheme. This morning it is seen trailing to Mac Yard on train 422. With a BCOL and IC heritage unit already painted and photos circulating online, it is certainly making everyone eager to see how vast this CN heritage program will be.

  1. Nice to see CN make the effort.

  2. Wait till they start leading…

  3. Steve said no more GTW in Hamilton Joe.

  4. Great catch! Its about time CN put some effort in honouring its past. Much better than slapping 100 years across the long hood of a few new GE’s. This unit also looks so much better than that sad olive green colour they put on the heritage GP38-3 mother and slug set.

  5. Joe is Banned. :)
