CN 580 arrives at Paris Junction behind CN 8878, GMTX 2695 and GMTX 2255. They had to taxi out to Garnet that morning to rescue train 581 that had run out of hours on the Hagersville Subdivision. They would later run to CGC and back as well, making for a long day for the 580 crew.

    Yes, a well done drone photo. It has the look of being taken on an overpass. The dirt trail on the right looks to be where most other photos are taken. Park somewhere on the paved road and walk over to take pictures, very handy.

    I have a DJI Mavic Mini. It is very compact and fits right into my regular camera bag which makes it very easy to bring along with me vs one of the bigger models. So far I’m very impressed with it.

    The Mavics are really awesome. I have the DJI Mavic Pro, but have not had much time to fly it. I really want to test out its capability for rail shots

    What I like about the Mavic Mini is the size and weight. It means I don’t need a proper license to fly it also. The shots I want to do are all easy to do and in sight lines of the drone which is the law for them. So far I’m pleased.

    @Joeseph.. i like my Pro, its not huge but it is supposed to be licensed.
    I bought it to use when I travel as I have seen much of this world, but more and more places have strict restrictions about the use of drones ..period.
    I still want to try it out in a few cool spots to shoot trains though.
