CN 5793 and IC 1009 bring an exceptionally long CN 331 through the work area at London Jct on a very warm afternoon. The old crossover switches have been replaced (old ones piled at right) along with the Guelph sub connecting switch, but the new crossovers have not yet been connected. Several excavators, a rock truck, and a front end loader are being used to conduct the trackwork along with many other smaller machines. A 20 mph TSO was in effect, no doubt frustrating motorists at the nearby grade crossings.
