Nice Matt. You have a much better unit on the bridge than the big GE I caught on mine this summer. Checking CNRHA, they have photos of the other 2 bridges in town on their site. They refer to them as a type 6 & 7 (they have a developed a system of types for the lettering). This bridge is listed as ?. I would call it a type 6a. It has all the characteristics of a type 6, it’s because the span is shorter that “courtesy and service” was put underneath and a little smaller. I can appreciate the difficulty of getting a photo like this with good sun exposure on the bridge and a unit passing over it.
CNRHA should give you a ring and add this beauty to their bridge collection.
