CN 4568 won't be going anywhere for a while. The rear end of the tank car and front of the second box car are on the ground on top of the switch to the CP interchange tracks. The signal protecting the diamond crossing is just visible to the right of the train. The train is on Bethune Street just south of Dalhousie Street. Behind the train was a vacant lot where a former turntable pit outlined in timbers was still visible. It's now a parking lot. There is a building still standing on Wolfe Street that has an angled wall from the former lead to the turntable. Photo by my brother with some editing assistance. I'm the kid cluttering up the photo under the street light.

  1. Wow, amazing shot! It’s really great to a see a long lost branch line in colour. It does bring sadness to me knowing all these Ontario branch lines are now gone. Great job once again!
