CN 3005 brings up th markers on the rear of train 730, 151 potash loads and three units. Am pleased to have caught one of these monsters at the old Lasco bridge in the few remaining weeks before it is closed for good. 1331hrs.

  1. I still remember 730 being the ore train.

  2. You are right Dave. 730/731 were the old ore train numbers when it ran from Temagami to Hamilton and back. 5 GP40-2 in full throttle

  3. When is that bridge scheduled to close Mike?

  4. ngineered4u, not sure of date, but once the South Blair underpass work is complete, closure will be soon after. While the new access road to Gerdau has been in for some time and underpasses for the Kingston and GO Subs are ready, the actual roadwork is still ongoing.
