CN 2665 leads an X474 eastbound, as they cross the 3,920 foot Salmon River Trestle in New Denmark, New Brunswick on a cool Fall afternoon. The leaves are just starting to change color in this area. A week later, there would have been a beautiful display of Fall's colors.

  1. Wow! That’s pretty spectacular!

  2. Excellent image ! What are those grey ” hoppers” near the head end ???

  3. Those “hoppers” are a set of Tank-Train cars destined to the Valero terminal on the Chatham Spur in Miramichi, N.B. They are coming from the Valero, formerly Ultramar, refinery in St. Romauld, QC, near CN Joffre Yard in Charny.

  4. I see, many thanks Bill.
