CN 208 and 308 were always favourites of Montreal-area fans back in the 1980s. They normally had three MLW "big C's" and arrived in the morning--perfect for shots on the West Island and the South Shore. (In fact, since the trains changed crews at Turcot, you had time to shoot them at either or both locations!) This morning we have 208 making its way through St. Lambert with M636/C630/M630 units "elephant style". In the background, you can see the St. Lambert station and Victoria bridge; power for St. Lambert based locals is behind the train.

  1. Memories! I remember when i hired on i was assigned to train 495, an Oshawa to Mac Yrd and return. We used to set out 308 head end intermodal cars that we picked up at Conport at Ajax for 308 to lift for Montreal
