    Wow, I remember this industry. In fact I walked through the abandoned building in 2006 about. Very cool shot.

    Cottrell was a freight forwarder, grouping LCL (less than carload) shipments to major cities. If I recall correctly, Clarke also did this and the boxcars were handled on intermodal trains.

    Oh Boy!I worked that job.Probably the best yard assignment we had in Montreal back then.On duty 20.00 and usually done by 23.00 on bad days Midnight!
