Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia C-630M Nos. 2015 (ROBERT BURNS) and 2032 (LORD BYRON) are shown on a late summer Saturday evening. Constructed by Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) for Canadian National in 1968, both would be acquired for the start up of the short line enterprise in October of 1993. While No. 2015 would be retired in 1996, No. 2032 would toil away for a decade along the east coast of Canada prior to being sold for scrap in 2003. Note the CN company service flat car with a load of rail from Sydney Steel Corporation.
