I just noticed this image for the first time. Excuse me for that, I was on vacation. Nice to see the 6707….got to see it myself in Sylvania, Georgia last spring…but looking a lot more faded now. I had no idea it was down there.
This is a remarkable shot, John. It really is.
I spent a brief period in the mid 1980s working in CP’s London Yard at Quebec Street. For a time in the winter, we had engine 6707 as our power. The late Don Broadbear wasour Engineer & he took some great shots of this unit plowing heavy snow on a local industrial spur. We had a trainee Engineer & Don was able to exit the unit to take the pictures. Thanks for posting this shot & reminding me of those particular “good old” days.
