Canadian Pacific's Markdale Station is pictured on a nice sunny day in June 1970. The only life around is the groundhog on the tracks near the platform. Markdale was located at Mile 44.1 of CP's Owen Sound Sub between Orangeville and Owen Sound, which was abandoned through here in 1995.
