Caption: Canadian Pacific 7047, a little 1000hp Alco S2 switcher built in 1946 and assigned to John Street Roundhouse nearby, rumbles through the Toronto Terminals Railway corridor at Spadina Avenue with a short local freight or transfer move, heading eastbound towards Union Station. Its duties today could be numerous depending on assignment, as CP worked industries downtown along Queen's Quay, the Portlands, and also interchanged traffic with CN at Don Yard and Cherry Street.
