Canadian National C40-8 #2008, a former Union Pacific unit, leads a very long train #439 through Puce, Ontario on a beautiful late Friday afternoon. This unit is ex-UP 9035 and was built as Chicago & North Western 8504 in July of 1989. Looking at this unit just goes to prove to me that old Used Car Salesmen don't die, they go move on to selling old, beat up locomotives!!! Hard to believe that CN, being power short, went out and bought 25 year old locomotives to supplement it's roster.

  1. I was in London yesterday and watched 439 build their train. What happened to 9614? 2008 and 9614 were backing in to the autoracks then were waiting for clearance to leave the yard.

  2. Nice. That location works well.
